DAYS OF OUR LIVES

I am half done with the novel 2STATES(by Chetan Bhagat) when it reminded me of my days in school or for that matter in college and i can't resists the memories of the past which i had enjoyed with my friends and my 'girl-friends'...those were the days of our lives when we all were free of any burden and tensions of responsibilities which many of us are now going through...but then everyone has to grow and so did we but the space which that friendship has created in our hearts is wide and today i wish all those moments were replayed so that i can GROW UP ONCE AGAIN like an idiot...but then time cannot be reversed, only memories can and when i replay them--
i see those snatching of every bite of Aloo Parantha when mess food is bad..i see those bunking classes and profs staring at us hoping we might return to class sometime during that period but that never happened...i see those groupings near canteen as if we were apart since decade or so and wanna share evry second of what happened in lectures of all engg. disciplines...i see some1 or the other searching for some1 or the other for that cup of coffee or cold drink which he claim will repay in sometime during the college itself but that moment never came....i can see some hearts being broken but surely some new will bloom very soon....i can see long queue in front of the library few day b4 exams which used to be empty otherwise like a place witnessing curfew...i can see those bday bumps which evry1 got and whose effects can only be felt the next morning and then u realize what a beginning to ur day....and u prepare urself to celebrate some1 else's bday with same passion....
i know some moments are hard to come again but some always can like it happened after school when we joined the college...there can always be a second chance which isn't there in relationships...there can always be a second moment which isn't there for the past....
Life is like a book:what matters is how good it is, not how long it is...but surely one chapter has ended for many of us only to begin the new one with a hope that this new chapter will again have such impact in our minds that we are compelled to play the same chapter over again for years and keep the spirit for remembrance alive and rocking....
with love to all my friends

  2. Reminds me of last few days in college when we organised that party for the profs. It really brought us together.
